Oriental gave a commercial financing for $2 million to the Adventist Union. The loan will be used to build the new building to house the institution of the church in the island's Union local representing the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
Aimed to advise future homeowners, Oriental took part in an event coordinated by the federal “Homeownership” program of the Caguas Municipality, which was recently held at its Jardín Botánico. This program helps Section 8 families who have a source of income and can assume the partial payment of a mortgage.
To further strengthen its relationship with real estate agents and REALTORS® and contribute to education of these professionals, Oriental offered a seminar on recent changes incorporated into the federal statute Settlement Real Estate Procedures Act (RESPA's).
